Raspberry Pi


Hi everyone! Today I brought you an article about Raspberry Pi. First we learn whats a raspberry Pi


What's a raspberry Pi?
Raspberry Pi is a small computer. It was developed in UK by the Raspberry Pi foundation. It's in size of a credit card. The main purpose developing this raspberry pi is to teach computer science and digital electronics at schools. Also It's a good teaching equipment.

 


Hardware Specifications
Raspberry Pi comes in two models as model A and model B
It comes is 256/512 MB memory sizes. You will need to install the rasoberry pi OS to a SD/SDHC card and insert it to the PI. The model a gets 2.5 W power and model b gets 3.5 W power. Also it's powered with a 700Mhz processor. Thatz awesome!

Differences between model a and b

Model A :-
  • Doesn't supports ethernet
  • 265MB Ram
  • Single USB Connector
Model B :-
  • Supports ethernet
  • 512MB Ram
  • Dual USB Connector
Ports of a Raspberry Pi:


Raspberri Pi has two video out put ports. The port in the top you can connect a old telivision. And the port in the bottom you can connect a modern HDTV with a HDMI cable. Also It has Audio out, USB 2.0 x 2, Ethernet, SD/SDHC Slot and a power slot. You can supply the power with a micro USB charger.
